It is good for beginners, avoid going into support project as they will make you work even on your sick days off. And HR wont help in this case either.

..., you will have to look for another one on your own , else they will remove you. Used to pay fairly but is now as good as literally any other company like TCS, Infosys in terms of both work quality and compensation. No real way to move vertically based on merit unlike TCS.

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes#vs...

If you have skill required for the project you can stay as long as you want and your manager will always stand for you,

Company not care about their employee now a day, giving very less anual bonus which is around 4% and even promotional increment is also 10%, once you on bench and decline more than three project offer due to night shift or due to location you will get hr show cause mail which may terminate if not provide proper justification, also they did not compensate me for relocation for the project.

Cognizant is best place to work it's salary structure also good as well as work life balance also we can maintained. And The team I am working in is so nice and the lead is so supportive.
