I had a short tenure in TCS, was there to be judged much. But is an employee centric company but the the top down view does not have much visibility on the grass root level employees.

Salary is too less.. lesser than the market standards

...tive, sometimes not and the management is transparent.company policies are good.Appraisals are not fair and they give not good salary hike and bonus every year.

There is a lot of politics at the time of appraisals, and who impress the manager or section head that person get high rating. Total year working person get low rating.

Variable pay component is less so your take home goes higher, this is the only benefit

Dislikes

Limited number of projects , no scope for skill development, project goals run around billing and meeting financial target rather than striving for excellence, especially health care BU is not is god shape
