World Health Partners

We are an Indian non-profit Society focused on delivering health and reproductive health services within walkable distance to underserved communities. Singular attention is paid to rural areas where the majority of the population lives. Our programmes create an entire ecosystem of healthcare and the solution for each constituent is built around the human aspects of the user by factoring the medical, social, educational, religious and financial aspects of their own environment. The ensuing structure becomes robust enough to handle a range of products and services which is needed to create volumes that are essential for reducing cost of delivery. Founded in 2008 by Gopi Gopalakrishnan, World Health Partners has so far (as on May 3rd 2020) treated over 26 million patients which includes directly offering more than 236,000 teleconsultations. The trained and networked providers deliver most services on their own while the technology solutions play a supplementary role for referral to tele-connecting doctors in cities. Together,this approach has created easy access to good quality health and reproductive healthcare covering a range of services including family planning, maternal health, treatment for tuberculosis and childhood illnesses.
