Tata Asset Management manages investments of Tata Mutual Fund, a mutual fund registered with SEBI. The company also offers Portfolio Management Services, Alternate Investment Funds, Offshore Funds and Pension funds (under National Pension System) through our subsidiary Tata Pension Management Limited.
Our origin stems from a much respected and internationally acclaimed industrial house – the Tata Group – whose business philosophy has made our country, and its people partners in the wealth creation process. TAM is owned by Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd (68%) and Tata Investment Corporation Ltd (32%).

Amazon Exits Shoppers Stop, Makes 54% Gain On Original Investment
- Amazon.com Inc. has exited Shoppers Stop Ltd. by selling its entire 4% stake for Rs 276 crore.
- The US-based company offloaded nearly 44 lakh shares at Rs 627.6 apiece through an open market bulk deal.
- Through this bulk deal, Amazon made a gain of nearly Rs 97 crore, at a profit of almost 54%.
- Tata Mutual Fund, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte. picked up a total of 35 lakh Shoppers Stop shares at Rs 627.6 apiece.
