SVS College of Engineering, Coimbatore, an institution acccredited by NAAC and certified by ISO 9001:20008 is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. SVSCE has received ALL INDIA RANK 39 among Engineering colleges in the country and STATE LEVEL RANKING 13 among the Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu in the Ranking list released by the Higher Education Review Magazine (June 2017 issue). In "Excellent Industry Exposure Category"​ SVSCE stands 8th position in all India ranking and 4th position in State level. The campus in spread over 36 acres of land utilized for the College Hostels, Play Fields and Gardens. SVS is a home to aesthetically designed buildings with state of the art computer and internet centers, Modern workshops, state-of-art laboratories, lecture halls, Seminar halls, well stocked libraries, sports and games fields in addition to gymnasium.Apart from exemplary infrastructural facilities, the institute also offers a host of allied resources – a stationary store, ATM, a modern cafeteria, reprography center and transportation facilities – that go on to make the SVS experience truly enriching.The college has signed MoU with research organizations and industries in order to promote closer interaction in the areas of technology development, training of students and development of state-of-art centers. Each department conducts annually at least one National Conference/Seminar/Workshop for effective dissemination of state-of-art technologies and research findings for the benefit of faculty and industries. Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Faculty Development Centre, Higher Education Cell and Research and Development Centre are the hallmarks of the Institute.
