SIAC SKH India Cabs Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. (SIAC SKH) is a 50-50 Joint Venture between SKH and SIAC SPA of Italy. The facility manufactures fully trimmed cabins for JCB and Caterpillar from its units in Prithla (NCR) and Chakan (Pune). SIAC SKH is the market leader in cabin manufacturing in India with 3 out of 4 backhoe cabins built in India being SIAC SKH products. By close of 2018, 40% of wheel loaders in India will have cabins built by SIAC SKH. SIAC SKH, Prithla was established in June 2010 and started production in July 2011 with a current capacity to produce 60,000 cabs per annum. The Prithla plant has a covered area of 136,000 sqft. to serve its key customer JCB. SIAC SKH, Chakan was established in October 2016 with a current production capacity of 5,000 cabs per annum. The Chakan plant has a covered area of 45,000 sqft with an active employee base of 70 to serve its key customer Caterpillar.
