RealNetworks has enjoyed real success in the world of digital media -- hundreds of millions of people have downloaded the company's RealPlayer product to stream and download audio, video, and other multimedia content. Its primary revenue, though, comes from mobile phone carrier software for ring tones, music and video on-demand, and text messaging.
