PTS is a shell in search of an occupant. Following an extensive restructuring it has exited all of its former operations. During 2010 it first agreed to, then abandoned plans to acquire Thinline Technology Group (IT consulting and business networking) in 2010. In 2011 the company announced plans to merge with Axiom Care Group, a service provider to the long term care market. Previously the company exited the health care industry by selling its Disability Access Consultants subsidiary (accessibility compliance services) to former PTS CEO Peter Chin; it also halted efforts to develop the Glove Box automated latex glove dispenser.
