This French company has extracted a healthy business for itself. Naturex manufactures more than 350 botanical extracts used in food, neutraceutical, and cosmetic products. Its nutrition and health ingredients business unit provides more than half of the company's revenue, and includes plant extracts sold under names such as Powergrape and Cereboost. Naturex has production facilities in France, Italy, Morocco, and the US, along with sales offices in Asia, Europe, and the US -- more than 90% of the company's sales are outside of France. In 2009, shareholders approved a merger with the Ingredients Division of competitor Natraceutical Group. CEO Jacques Dikansky owns about 25% of the company.
