Team management is horrendous. To get things in perspective - Times Now Navbharat & Times Now have offs on both sat & sun but Mirror now has alternate two days offs - 1 week one off another week 2 offs. Times Now & Times Now Navbharat have 5 people for handling Twitter & another team handles fb insta whereas mirror now team has only4-5 people & the manager Raksha Bihani makes you work as a video editor, gfx designer & copy editor all at once. No work from home when you need it whereas Times Now team managers give their team wfh when they need it. If you're ready to stick your a.s.ses to your seats for straight 8+ hours, then please join here. The work load on 4-5 people keeps on increasing as the manager brings new rules & things to do as months proceed. Before the manager came there used to be two video editors, 6 copy editors & a gfx designer but after her takeover she believes that the team doesn't need a video editor making the copy editors do their work & when gfx designer is on leave, you have to do gfx as well. The thing is that it is all about managers. Same company times now has better culture wfh & offs & a bigger team. Plus if you do this job, you won't have a byline or the time to get one since the main job will keep you hooked on the laptop for 9 hours...Read More

Likes

Learned a lot from my output desk team. Learned all the aspects of how a news channel works, enjoyed working as an intern in Mirror Now. All the editors are supportive and caring.

Dislikes

The stipend is very less as per the work they give to interns. The employees do half of there work from the interns as it becomes easy for them. Lot of work pressure.
