MEHRU established in the year 1997, is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and 17025 : 2005 certified company, manufacturing Instrument Transformers upto 500KV. The products manufactured by MEHRU incorporate the best and most modern technology, to ensure a good quality product. The design of Instrument Transformers, are time tested designs over a period of several decades. All the Instrument Transformers have been type tested as per IEC/IS and ANSI standards. Instrument transformers have also been type tested for Seismic Withstand test at 0.5G on all 3 axis, fast transient (Multiple chopped impulse) Test & Internal ARC test. The Testing Labs are equipped with most latest equipments to carry out all routine tests as per IEC /IS/BS/AS and ANSI standards. There are 8 testing labs out of which 3 are of routine testing, 3 dedicated test labs for incoming raw material & remaining 2 are 850kV Discharge free test lab with Resonant Test System. The testing lab is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories(NABL). Ministry of Science & Technology for ISO 17025:2005, an internationally acclaimed standard for laboratory testing. Mehru has In house R&D Centre recognized by Ministry of Science & Technology. Mehru has India’s 1st High Voltage Partial Discharge Test Lab with Series Resonant System having both variable Inductance and variable frequency option which allows High Voltage & Partial Discharge testing of CT at 50 Hz & PT at 100 Hz or 150 Hz directly.
