MAPIT

MAP_IT is a government society which has been constituted on 3rd May 1999 under Society Registration Act 1973, to propel the growth of Information Technology (IT) in Madhya Pradesh and implement the State IT Policy. To help implement IT/e-Governance projects across the state of M.P, MAP_IT has been appointed as the nodal agency. MAP_IT has resources in the category of PeMT, CoE, PMU, MPSSDI, TCU and other employees for the implementation of these projects for different departments of the state of M.P. Project e-Mission Team (PeMT) is a team of highly skilled Technical Experts hired from the Open Market and deployed in various State User Departments to implement the IT/e-Governance initiatives of that Department and State MMPs (Mission Mode Projects). They have been deployed to manage implementation and deal with technology, process, external Agency management & change management. PeMTs help establish synchronization with System Integrator in effective execution of projects. They work in consultation with departmental head, SeMTs and Officer In-charges at MAP_IT. Currently there are 75 PeMTs deployed in 35 departments of MP to implement their IT/e-Governance projects. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) has been formed in MAP_IT to provide advanced IT services to other government departments in MP. At COE, our sole purpose is to remove the obstacles that our departments face every day in terms of technology. COE is operational since 2015 and we are about pushing the limit of what is currently possible- towards completely new areas. As leaders in IT services and business solutions, we partner with departments to simplify, strengthen and transform their way of working. Our mission is to help government departments to achieve their objectives by providing innovative and best-in-class IT solutions and service to make it a joy for all our stakeholders to work with us. Madhya Pradesh State Spatial Data Infrastructure (MPSSDI) is a team of technical experts in the field of GIS. They also contribute majorly in effective evaluation and creation of geo-spatial data / maps for departments across the state. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to have a policy issued (State Spatial Data Infrastructure Policy 2014), the model of sharing expensive GIS remotely sensed data across authorized state users. MPSSDI is dedicated to harness the potential of GIS & Remote Sensing technology to benefit the better planning and decision making. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to provide the web services of GIS maps comprising seamless, Khasra maps of 52,000 villages and other administrative boundaries of State and satellite imagery to user government departments using restricted/authorized access. These services are very useful for developmental and infrastructural planning process of user departments. The District e-Governance Society (DeGS) is a registered society which has been established in all the 51 districts by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the Department of Science and Technology. DeGS is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of electronic services for citizens.To provide various services related to e-governance, the District e-Governance Manager, Assistant e-Governance Manager, Accountant and Office Assistant etc. have been appointed under the District e-Governance Society. e-Daksh To sensitize Government officials of various departments in the implementation of e-Governance and Information Technology projects, Government of Madhya Pradesh has established e-Daksh Centes (Regional Capacity Building Centres (RCBC). e-Daksh centres have been established the across all the 51 District Headquarters in the state for imparting training to Government Officials. Experienced trainers have been appointed under DeGS at e-Daksh. Centres have been established with State of the Art Technology and having capacity of 25-30 Computers To cultivate the training programs and to manage the e-Daksh a Training Collaboration Unit (TCU) has been set up in MAP_IT.IT/e Governance Trainings began in June 2014 in 15 Centres and in Jun 2016 in 36 Centres.
