M/s Kumar Elastomech Pvt Ltd is registered SME for the manufacture of Plastic moulded components for motorcycles and scooters with the ministry of commerce and Industry, secretariat for Industrial Assistance vide Registration No 417/SIA/IMO/2005 dated 2nd February 2005. It along with its associate concerns is in the field of manufacturing Plastic injection Moulded components for country’s one of the largest manufacturer of two/three-wheeler giant M/S Bajaj auto ltd. for the last 25 years. Presently the manufacturing facilities are located in Mumbai, Chakan (Pune) & Waluj (Aurangabad). The company is headed by Mr. Kumar Lakhani, as Chairman and Managing. A director who had established this business 25 years back and is also the amoving spirit behind this project also. He is supported by Mr Raj Kumar. A. Chandnani, as whole-time Director who is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and has over 20 years experience in the field of manufacturing. The companies business has steadily grown ever since its inception both in terms of sales volumes and profitability. The company maintains very high standards of component development targets, quality adherence, meeting supply schedules and logistic backups with a unified objective of customer satisfaction. A few years back with India opening up its economy, many multinational brands entered the Indian two/three-wheeler market. As a result, the market became highly competitive and suddenly the consumer expectations started rising both for quality and cost. Our principal customer Bajaj Auto Ltd very ably responded to the call and has come out as winner vis-a-vis multination brands. During this process, Bajaj Auto had rationalised its vendor base to almost 30%. We are now LTS (Lifetime source) suppliers in plastic injection moulded component category. This further reassures our business stability with future growth prospects.
