With more than 80 years of experience, Komori knows how to run a full-court press. The company is one of the world's top makers of offset printing presses and the only maker of currency printers based in Japan. The company makes sheetfed presses (accounting for more than half of sales), web offset presses, currency and securities printing equipment, and packaging printing machinery. Komori -- which sells its products in more than 80 countries -- boasts customers that include the Japan Ministry of Finance, Dai Nippon Printing, and Toppan Printing. While sales in Japan have fallen in recent years, sales in Europe and other parts of Asia continue to grow.
