JKM Ferrotech Limited foundry in Tamil Nadu, India was started up in November 2008. The foundry focuses on the automotive sectors in India and in Europe.
In the autumn of 2012 the second moulding machinery development stage was approved. Castings weighing up to 20 kg are produced on 2 moulding machines with a capacity of 1500t per month.
Seven medium-frequency induction smelting furnaces with capacities of 1t to 6t supply the molten iron for the moulding machines. Core machines with a volume of 15l to 25l are used to produce cores.
