With a vision to reduce carbon footprints in the environment as well transforming into a self-sufficient producer & consumer of Carbon Disulphide (CS2), Indofil Industries Limited, Mumbai, India entered into a joint venture with Shanghai Baijin Chemicals Group Company Ltd. (SBC), Shanghai, China and formed INDO BAIJIN CHEMICALS PRIVATE LTD.
The joint venture has put up a world-class manufacturing plant facility for producing 60,000 tons/annum of CS2 by using natural gas as basic raw material, at the Dahej SEZ area in Gujarat, India. IBJ started its commercial operations in April 2014.
INDO BAIJIN, in a very short span of time, has emerged as one of the world's best and most preferred CS2 manufacturers and suppliers at both Domestic & International Markets.
