Since 1961, the IMP POWERS brand has stood for manufacturing innovative, high quality and reliable electrical equipments starting with Measuring and Testing equipments including Energy meters, graduating to Auxiliary and Distribution Transformers in the 70’s and then stepping further to Power & Special Transformers in mid 80’s
In the last decade starting early 2000’s IMP POWERS has leapfrogged its nearest competitors by entering the EHV sector (220 kV and 400 kV) and has become one of the TOP FIVE Transformer manufacturing companies in India in 132/ 220 kV Class, with an installed base over 35,000 transformers across the globe.
