Established in 2006 by Anand Educational Society, it is approved byAll India Council of Technical Education,New Delhiand affiliated toDr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University,Lucknow. The 11-acre (4.5ha) HIET campus is located adjacent toNH 24Dasna Road Ghaziabad. The institute hascricketgrounds,basketball, andvolleyballcourts and also features cultural activities. The annual Science and Technology festival of HIET, Cross-Road is held in November every year. It includes various events like competitions, exhibits and talks from guest speakers from all around India.
