Delight Foods

Delight Foods provides delivery of selected branded food across India. Has five categories of items – sweets, dried fruits, savouries, sides, masalas/mixes and bakery – selling over 75 brands and 1000 products. Has set up a packaging center in each of the 12 cities from where it is serving these items. Food is picked only after order is placed. The cuisine ordered by customers is packed in its city of origin itself, shipped to their location, re-packed and sent to the final address. Only provides outer protective packaging to original manufacturer's packaging. Takes 48-72 hours to deliver in this entire process. Investment bank Mape Advisory Group and Fireside Ventures have together invested Rs 1 crore in pre-launch round of funding in Delight Foods in July 2015. Raised INR 4 crore from Lachmi-Niwas Sadani’s family office, with existing investors Mape Advisory Group and Fireside Ventures also participated in a round of funding in Nov 2015. Plans to raise pre-series A/series A for expanding its reach.
