BayHill Capital (formerly Cognigen Networks) hopes to rev up its commissions. Through its subsidiary Commission River, the company primarily earns commissions from online sales of domestic and international long-distance calling cards -- as well as Internet access, wireless phone, and other telecom services -- using independent sales agents and affinity group marketing programs. In 2008 the company changed its name from Cognigen to BayHill Capital Corporation. The following year the company agreed to be acquired by wireless broadband ISP Yonder Media, but the terms of the agreement were not met and the deal expired.
