Baazar Kolkata, one of the oldest growing value retail chains collaborated with Ad My Bin, a social enterprise in 2017 to launch a CSR Initiative to generate awareness & interest to encourage the use of Litter Bins in the streets of Kolkata & Jamshedpur. Together, have installed 150+ Litter Bins, each Litter Bin is installed at a distance of 50 to 100 mts in medium to high-populated areas catering to littering on streets. To generate employment amongst low-income groups, we have employed ragpickers/daily wage workers who act as our cleaning agents on day to day basis facilitating the cleaning & washing of Bins along with changing garbage bin bags regularly.
