The company has rolled out an comprehensive new CSR policy that focusses on an integrated approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) across the Company by identifying the right, needed and impactful programs and contribute towards programs under the Company’s CSR budget and to be in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 (“Act”).

ABB Services Bangalore began operations in 2016 and employs a highly skilled, culturally di-verse workforce of over 2,200 people that provide global support for multiple functions like Finance, Human Resources (HR) and Information Systems (IS). 1. AIC hosts 2500 technologists in a new, AI-enabled 8-floors facility in Bengaluru 2. It caters to ABB’s global and local network in more than 50 geographies 3. The team focuses on end-to-end competence in R&D, engineering and operations, digital technologies, and services spanning the entire lifecycle management 4. 25,000 ABB products including 3000 IoT- enabled products used to reduce carbon footprint The ABB Innovation Center (AIC) in Bengaluru, India. This state-of-the-art facility is one of ABB’s largest globally and serves as the backbone for technology developments to accelerate innovation. It houses 2500 diverse technologists including engineers, principal and data scientists, architects, domain and analytics specialists, programmers, and developers. The new AIC facility, spread over 3,30,000 sq. ft across 8 floors, offers a work environment and ecosystem for open and seamless collaboration. This facility is in line with ABB’s sustainability commitment to enable a low-carbon emission society. More than 25,000 ABB products including 3000 IoT-enabled products used in the Building Management System (BMS) offer savings of ~20% in energy bills with a potential of saving ~40% on maintenance costs and up to 30% on operational costs.
