Partnering closely with business clients in India, Malaysia and Singapore and lead multidisciplinary projects for strategic legal advice beyond a single business unit or country.
Assisting on inquiries regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, healthcare regulatory, privacy, employment, dispute management, compliance, corporate secretarial and / or other specialized areas as assigned.
Working independently on matters of significant complexity or importance.
Leading and executing cross-functional deals and projects of significant impact and/or complexity.
Formulating strategies for sophisticated business setups and dispute resolution.
Identifying and quantifying legal risks, including exploring options and alternatives that provide a balance between risks and business objectives.
Raising and monitoring questions and legal discussions that have applicability to our businesses and operations of the company within the assigned region.
Supporting and accompanying judicial and administrative claims.
Providing recommendations, consultations, and training, including organizational policies or regulatory questions.
Monitoring and proactively managing legal issues occurring within the region, through direct involvement or through management of law firms.
Supporting or aligning the activities of the department with the planning of the area.
Managing the legal department including budget, outside counsel, legal technology.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications and requirements:
At least 7 years post-qualified legal experience
Bachelor s degree in law from an accredited institution.
Experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm and then made the transition into the in-house legal team of a recognized entity.
Good understanding of general commercial law, Competition Law, Health Care Law, Privacy and related areas of practice
Experienced dealing with assignments in the main assigned region of India
