Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our Shared Services Team

Reporting to the Director of Engineering , you'll be responsible for:

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 engineers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration

Development Oversight: Drive the end-to-end development of security solutions, focusing on the Windows and Linux platforms, utilizing C++, C#, and automation tools

Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, security experts, DevOps) to ensure delivery of high-quality features and products

Own project timelines and resource planning

Automation & Testing: Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage, high-quality product releases, and reduce manual testing efforts

Quality Assurance: Ensure rigorous code reviews, adhere to coding standards, and drive continuous improvement in product quality and team performance

Innovation & Optimization: Continuously evaluate the development roadmap to suggest enhancements in performance, quality, functionality, security and alignment with the company's future trajectory

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

10+ years of software development experience with a background in C++, C#, and system-level programming on both Windows and Linux platforms

5+ years in a leadership role, managing a team of engineers and overseeing the delivery of complex software products

Experience on Windows desktop application development experience

Knowledge on tools like Visual Studio, WinDBG, Wireshark, fiddler

Expertise in automation frameworks and testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing

Experience with networking protocols, secure communication, and familiarity with network security products

Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in using project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology, is required

Preference given to candidates with prior experience leading teams in the Digital Experience Monitoring space
