APPIAN DEVELOPER

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code.
• Responsible for component development. Translate the functional requirement to the Appian business flows with the help of Process Models, Rules, CDTs, Web service Integration.
• Demonstrates the ability to work with system owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system.
• Work with business analysts to understand desired system requirements and write functional and technical specifications.
• Involved in getting the requirements, designing and mapping the same to the Business processes
• Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration, and performance.
• Effectively model organization business processes and integrate them with existing Enterprise systems and capabilities.
• Estimate level of effort and plan work accordingly.
• Provide demonstrations of solutions built on Appian software to business stakeholders.
• Work on projects independently or with a small team depending on the complexity and scope of the project.
• Estimate Appian configuration feasibility of business requirements and provide justifications as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3-5 years of hands on experience with the Appian Tool, with a focus on Appian application and Interface design
• Bachelor's/master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Life Science or other related disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks throughout the education
• Strong hands on experience in design patterns and transaction management, with a focus on Appian patterns and Appian integrations
• Experience in reviewing and interpreting plans and other process documents
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Additional skills:

• Must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
• Understanding of Agile software practices
• ZS is a global consulting firm English fluency is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is highly desired.
