Senior Software Engineer - GoLang

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in GoLang to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using GoLang.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements :

- Strong Analytical and Algorithmic Capability : Proven ability to solve complex problems and design efficient algorithms, GoLang

- Expertise : 1+ years of professional experience in GoLang.

- Database Proficiency : Solid understanding of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL data stores (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Git Proficiency : A clear understanding of Git and experience working with Git-based workflows.

Backend Development Experience :

- 2+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.

- Programming Best Practices : Strong adherence to good programming practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), code reviews, and clean code principles.

Nice to Have :

- Personal Projects : Experience working on and contributing to personal projects.

- UI Frameworks : Experience with UI frameworks like React.js

- Mentoring/Team Management : Experience mentoring junior engineers or managing small teams.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Cloud Technologies : Experience working with or using cloud technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.
