Role Description

This is a full-time Product Design - Lead role at ZOOP located in Pune.

The Lead Product Designer will be responsible for overseeing the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups, and ensuring the delivery of user-centric design solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Overview:

- We are looking for a Lead Product Designer with 7+ years of experience to drive the design vision for Zoop .

- In this role, you will define user experiences, design scalable UI/UX frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create world-class fintech solutions.

- Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual aesthetics will shape the future of our digital financial ecosystem.

- You will also lead and manage a team of Product Designers and Graphic Designers, ensuring strategic alignment, design excellence, and innovation in our products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute a long-term UX vision and roadmap for Zoop , ensuring a best-in-class digital financial experience.

- Drive user research initiatives, usability testing, and analytics-driven design to optimize customer engagement and product usability.

- Architect complex design solutions, creating detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for a seamless user journey.

- Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to integrate customer insights into the product development lifecycle.

- Oversee and evolve Zoop's design language and branding consistency across all user touchpoints.

- Lead the evolution of scalable design systems and reusable UI components for efficiency and consistency.

- Stay ahead of fintech and UX trends, continuously improving and refining Zoop's design approach.

- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Designers and Graphic Designers, fostering a high-performance, user-first design culture.

- Champion Agile methodologies, integrating design workflows into sprint planning, iterative testing, and rapid prototyping.

- Utilize industry-leading design tools and methodologies to deliver pixel-perfect and technically feasible designs.

What We're Looking For :

- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX/Product Design, with a proven track record in fintech, digital wallets, or payment solutions.

- Expertise in leading design teams, scaling design operations, and establishing user-centered design processes.

- Strong portfolio showcasing high-impact, user-driven design solutions and strategic problem-solving skills.

- Mastery of industry-standard design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), InVision, and prototyping tools.

- Hands-on experience in Agile and Lean UX methodologies, design sprints, and iterative product development.

- Deep understanding of UX research methodologies, user psychology, accessibility, and data-driven design decision-making.

- Experience in developing and maintaining robust design systems at scale.

- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to engage with leadership, developers, and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment with a growth mindset.

- Prior experience in designing financial or payment-related applications is a strong plus
