Role: Jr. Legal Associate - Contracts

Experience Level: 2 to 4 years (min)

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad

Shift Time: 06:00 PM to 03:00 AM (Night Shift)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and contracts, including but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreement, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, Consulting and Service Agreements
• Provide legal advice and guidance on complex legal matters to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations and provide proactive recommendations to ensure compliance.
• Effective oral and written communication skills enabling negotiation and finalization of contracts with companies based in the US
• Critical thinking through the process to identify improvements.
• Experience negotiating contracts.
• Expert in interpreting contracts and their terms
• Effective contract drafting, redlining, negotiation skills with minimal training and the ability to coach others.
• Experienced in using contract management tools.
• Preference for contract experience with US based clients

Candidate Must have:

1. Understanding of basic contracting principles, detail-oriented, organized, and flexible;
2. Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills; and Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills
3. Education: Law degree required.
4. Preferably 2-3 years experience in legal services.
