Communications & Designing associate

Zista is looking to hire a full-time Communications & Design Associate to drive conception and creation of communications to support its activities. This position will be responsible for managing communications content across the organization (including email newsletters, presentations, printed materials, ads and collateral), as well as website and social media. The anticipated mix between graphic and communication is expected to be 70/30. This person will work closely with website and other vendors. The candidate must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills. Extensive graphic design experience is a must.

Major Responsibilities

• Marketing communications: Create, edit and manage content for the website, electronic outreach communications (social media, email newsletters, etc.), program-specific material and other printed collateral, reports and general communications.
• Paid Digital Advertising: Create, edit and manage digital marketing campaigns and content for internal and external clients on platforms like Meta, Google and LinkedIn.
• Presentations: Create and design presentations on Prezi, PPT and other tools.
• Graphic design: Complete ownership of graphic design projects in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Canva, etc.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in communications/mass media/journalism/graphics content management.

Work Experience: 1+ years prior experience in graphic design, digital marketing, marketing communications (not sales) and social media marketing.

Skills: The candidate should excel in design, content management, communications, problem solving and use of specialized computer applications.
