Warehouse Manager

Job Overview:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, overseeing people management, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing products for shipment, and handling the dispatch of online orders for Amazon and Flipkart. The role will also include ensuring that products are Amazon FBA ready and managing efficient product dispatch to meet the needs of our growing online customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Management:
   
• Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning, ensuring the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Optimize the layout of the warehouse to ensure maximum storage capacity and efficient retrieval of products.
• Supervise the maintenance of warehouse equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
2. Amazon FBA and Online Orders Management:
   
• Ensure that products are prepared according to Amazon FBA guidelines, including correct labeling, packaging, and shipment preparation.
• Manage the shipment of products to Amazon FBA warehouses, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with Amazons requirements.
• Handle orders from Amazon and Flipkart, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment and dispatch of online customer orders.
• Coordinate with the customer service and logistics teams to resolve any order-related issues, such as returns or inventory discrepancies.
3. People Management:
   
• Lead, manage, and train warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are clearly assigned and executed efficiently.
• Monitor team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive, safe, and productive work environment through effective leadership and team-building.
• Ensure that the team is well-trained in warehouse processes, safety protocols, and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS).
4. Inventory Management:
   
• Ensure accurate tracking and management of inventory levels, both in the warehouse and across online platforms (Amazon, Flipkart).
• Perform regular stock counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation to minimize discrepancies.
• Manage stock replenishment, ensuring that the warehouse has sufficient inventory to meet customer demand without overstocking.
• Implement best practices for inventory control to reduce product loss, damage, and misplacement.
5. Product Shipment Readiness:
   
• Oversee the preparation of products for shipment, ensuring that all items are packed securely and meet quality standards.
• Ensure that products are correctly labeled, packaged, and ready for shipment, with special attention to meeting the requirements for Amazon FBA.
• Work closely with the logistics team to align product shipment schedules with customer demand and order timelines.
6. Product Dispatch:
   
• Supervise and coordinate the dispatch of products to customers, ensuring that orders are dispatched on time and accurately.
• Track the status of shipments, working closely with shipping carriers and logistics providers to resolve any delivery issues or delays.
• Ensure that all relevant dispatch documentation (invoices, packing lists, etc.) is completed and accurate.
• Monitor and improve dispatch processes to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within a retail or e-commerce environment, preferably with experience handling Amazon FBA operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Amazon FBA guidelines and Flipkart's online order fulfillment processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS), MS Office, and basic office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teams, such as logistics and customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
