Job Description
- Review bid and prepare the scope of work in compliance with client requirements specified general & special terms & conditions.
- Liaised with Client to review and verify the drawings / specifications, scope of work for the project.
- Attending technical meetings with Client and clarifying any queries for preparation of costing & proposal.
- Take the lead for the bid preparation, bid submission, and contract negotiation, and complete project handover from Inquiry to Order (ITO) to Order to Remittance (OTR)
- Preparation of RFQ and Float Enquiries to vendors for Bought - Out Items
- Develop cost estimates from outline or detailed technical documents utilizing both factorization & unit cost estimatetechniques
- Developing appropriate procedures and maintaining Benchmark database formulated from in- house project experience,project data, submitted range of cost.
- Preparing cost estimating on Manufacturing & Construction overheads, including analysis of Contingency, raw material,bought outs & Profit Margin for the organization in line with the regional norms.
- Analyzing, Approves the subcontractor s bids and technical/commercial evaluation of Vendors & Subcontractors proposal.
- Prepare Enquiry Pre- Qualification Documents, Technical & Commercial Proposals including histograms, projectschedules & method statements for submission.
- Organizing Kick of meeting for Briefing complete information in regard to Contact technical conditions and other requiredto Concerned Project Teams.
- Coordination of project activities with different departments within the organization which includes Production, QA/QC, Material Control, Estimations, QS, Project Management/Coordinators for smooth movement of projects.
- Analyze and Preparation & Build Up of Actual Project Cost incurred for review of the Management
Key Requirement :
- 4+ years experience with Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Estimator from Structural Steel Industry/ Expertise in Steel fabrication/Manufacturing Industry.
