Business Development Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing
• markets and seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
• Generate leads and cold call prospective customers, foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
• Think and work strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business and carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
• Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them.
• Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
• Strong knowledge in understanding all the technologies as per the market standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge in understanding all the technologies as per the market standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of sales, principles and business development strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both current and past technologies in the market.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
