Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated HR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will be passionate about HR, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges. This internship offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced HR professionals and contribute to projects that impact our organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
b) Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork.
c) Assist in maintaining HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
d) Support employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities, surveys, and recognition programs.
e) Assist in HR administration tasks, including maintaining employee files, updating organizational charts, and preparing HR reports.
f) Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and responding to inquiries.
g) Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or other senior team members.
h) Stay updated on HR best practices, trends, and relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior internship or work experience in HR is a plus, but not required.
Duration: The Internship is for an initial period of 3 months extendible by another 3 months on mutual consent.
