About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced SRE Team Members to join our dynamic team. As an SRE Team Member, you will be responsible for implementing all aspects of our SRE operations, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platforms. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and optimizing our SRE practices to support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workload Prioritization: Effectively prioritize SRE tasks and projects based on business objectives and technical requirements.
• Strategy Planning: Develop and implement SRE strategies and roadmaps at the platform level, aligning with overall business goals.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SRE processes, procedures, and standards.
• Cost Optimization: Collaborate with SRE engineers to identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement strategies to reduce costs.
• Platform Automation: Drive the automation of SRE tasks and processes using tools like Java, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services.
• Database Management: Oversee the management and optimization of databases used by our platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in SRE or a related field with ITSM support experience
• Deep understanding of SRE principles, practices, and tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in Java, Kubernetes, Docker, and database management.
• Proficiency in GitHub, JUnit, REST
• Proficiency in Databases, SQL, MS/SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Day to Day developer support
• Implementing CI/CD for new applications
• Application deployments to new regions
• Platform performance investigation
• Adding new resources for app ( Db and caches)
• Checking Application stacks are up and working
• Extracting data from production
• Running SQL queries in production
• Getting data from S3
• Application maintenance ( helm chart refactoring)
• Manage alerts for E-mobility products
• Project dependencies update (docker go actions)
• Access control ( Github , ArgoCD, AWS)
• Helping developers with dashboard creation for application
• Security patches for application
• Onboarding , training Knowledge Transfer
• Documentation of project related work
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Certifications in SRE or cloud technologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Contributions to open-source SRE projects.
