Job Description
Title: Manager - Legal Operations
About Legal Operations:
The Legal Operations team is part of the Legal function. Its primary role is to facilitate and enable smooth functioning of legal process and support legal department to serve clients more effectively by applying business and technical practices to the delivery of legal services. The team provides the strategic planning, fiscal management, project management and technology expertise that enables legal professionals to focus on providing legal advice.
Whom are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Operations specialist to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate should have a good understand of technological trends in the legal domain, will focus on streamlining processes and enhancing productivity through the implementation and management of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and other innovative technologies. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal operations.
Tasks and
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements to streamline legal operations and enhance productivity.
- Evaluate and recommend recent technologies including artificial intelligence to support legal operations to achieve automation and higher productivity for the function.
- Expansion, ongoing support, optimization, and enhancement of Contract Lifecycle Management tool to ensure efficient contract management and cross-functional processes.
- Basic issue triaging and troubleshooting and coordination with CLM supplier for issue resolution.
- User-training to promote awareness and effective use of the CLM tool and other technologies.
- Perform Legal operation tasks including:
- Assignment of legal requests and maintaining the Activity tracker
- Review of SOWs
- Facilitate e-signatures.
- Other day-to-day legal operation tasks as required.
- Data analytics and reporting to assist decision making.
Qualification and Qualities:
- Graduate. (Degree in Law is optional but is helpful). We will consider candidates with strong technology background and project management experience.
- Total of 7 - 9 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in implementation and administration of a CLM tool strongly preferred.
- Experience in managing process improvement projects.
- Basic understanding of structure of commercial contracts.
- Good proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Good collaborator
