- Edit and manipulate video footage to create seamless and engaging final products.
- Analyze shooting scripts and raw material to craft a shot decision list based on scene value and continuity.
- Organize and trim footage segments to create cohesive sequences.
- Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance visual storytelling.
- Deliver rough and final cuts of video projects that meet creative and technical standards.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions across scenes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during production and post-production processes.
- Stay updated on the latest editing technologies and industry trends to optimize workflows.
RequirementsKey Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in digital editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Solid understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in video editing.
- Experience with special effects, 3D editing, and compositing techniques is an advantage.
- A creative mindset with excellent storytelling skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong ability to translate ideas into visually compelling projects.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio.
