About the role:
In this role, the candidate will report to Dy Director - India Fin& Admin for India specific Finance, statutorycompliance responsibilities, corporate affairs, vendor payments, Client Billing, company tax matters.
As a key person of India Finance team, he/she will be working in a matrix reporting structure for maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the team to provide a first class and quality service to our stakeholders.
Overall, you will assist the driving force Kochi Finance teams' activities, team efficiencies and communications to our internal as well as external customers, working to mitigate risk and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Essential Skills:
- Good understanding and knowledge of India finance operations, and statutory landscape understanding of the big picture and meeting the expectations of key business stakeholders.
- Positive attitude and energy, with a passion for building relationships.
- Overall 15+ years of experience with at least 5+ years proven success in a leadership and people management role.
- Succession planning and development.
- Process optimization knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrable delivery of continuous service improvement.
- Experienced in site administration or similar lead roles in large organizations from any industry background.
- Positive role model for the team who leads by example.
- Record of people success and development.
- Good knowledge and experience of IT and ERP systems.
- Experience of managing complex teams, performance management and objective setting.
- Your leadership skills and approach will be key to steering Kochi Finance and Admin to the aspiration of having highly skilled and knowledgeable colleagues, enabled by modern tools and ways of working that adds real value to stakeholder engagement.
In this role key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible to Dy Director - India Finance for India specific finance.
- Assist company auditors for the successful completion of audits.
- Responsible for statutory compliance.
- Custodian corporate affairs.
- Responsible for day-to-day activities of the finance at Kochi Centre.
- Custodian of company documents, Day to day management of financial accounting.
- Responsible for corporate affairs matters.
- Corporate governance committee meeting convening and minutes.
- Responsible for monthly Client billing.
- Responsible for Timely vendor payments.
- Responsible for SEZ matters compliance, DTA procurement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide advisory to Dy Director Admin & India Finance & Kochi Executive director on SEZ, Corporate affairs of Kochi site.
- Accountable for providing key inputs for planning, budgeting and forecast processes related to Kochi center.
- Accountable for tax audit, income tax calculations of employees and generation of Form 16.
- Manage the Standard and ad-hoc reporting needs for Kochi and UK stakeholders.
- Review and manage reporting and analysis produced by the team.
- Provide innovative insight to support growth and cost optimization initiatives.
- Manage teams career development and facilitating timely performance reviews.
