Position: Manager - Statutory Audit

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3 - 10 Yrs

Salary: 13 - 20 Lpa

Description:

- Should have exposure to Ind As and Indian GAAP

- Should have expertise and knowledge of Audit, Assurance, Tax Audit, and Cost Audit.

- Proactive in handling multiple assignments and teams.

- Should be responsible for the financialization of the Audit and Report to the Partner

- Managing client relationships and client expectations.

- Discussing reports with clients and presenting to the Audit Committee.

- Review of internal financial controls of clients

- Plans and regulates financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews/audits

- Liaising with clients and providing financial information and advice.

- Reviewing the company's systems and analysing risk.

- Providing recommendations with regard to internal controls.

- Performing tests to check financial information and systems;

- Counselling clients on areas of business improvement.

- Advising clients in the detection and prevention of fraud.

- Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks

- Analyses and concludes on the effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment.

- Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.

- Review and submission of timely audit reports.

- Should be willing to travel extensively.

Skills:

3 years plus or 5 years plus post qualification experience.

We are seeking experienced audit professionals with a robust understanding of the BFSI (NBFC, Banks, Insurance) and Non-BFSI sectors. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles (including Ind-AS), along with proven expertise in audit planning, execution, and team management. Having exceptional communication skills in mandatory as the candidate will be dealing with CXO and Audit Committee(s) as well.
