Job Summary

The XR Developer is responsible for creating immersive, interactive applications for Apple's Vision Pro platform. This role involves using Swift and SwiftUI for development, leveraging VisionOS SDK, RealityKit, and ARKit for advanced augmented reality and 3D content creation. The developer will ensure adherence to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, optimize performance for Vision Pro hardware, and design user interactions through gestures, voice control, and spatial audio. Additionally, the developer will prototype, test, and iterate on designs while integrating applications seamlessly within the Apple ecosystem.

Swift and SwiftUI Development:

• Swift Programming: Mastery of Swift, the primary language for iOS and VisionOS development.
• SwiftUI: Proficient in using SwiftUI for building spatial and three-dimensional user interfaces.

VisionOS SDK:

• VisionOS Familiarity: Deep understanding of the VisionOS SDK, including frameworks and tools for Vision Pro development.
• RealityKit and ARKit: Skilled in RealityKit for 3D content creation and ARKit for augmented reality interactions.

Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) for Vision Pro:

• Apples Design Principles: Knowledge of Apples HIG for Vision Pro to ensure best practices in user experience, accessibility, and interaction in XR environments.
• Spatial Design: Ability to create spatial experiences that naturally integrate virtual elements into the users environment.

3D Content Creation:

• 3D Modeling and Animation: Competence in creating 3D assets using tools like Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D, optimized for Vision Pro hardware.
• Asset Integration: Proficiency in integrating 3D assets into VisionOS projects via Reality Composer Pro or RealityKit.

Gesture and Voice Interaction Design:

• Hand Tracking and Gesture Recognition: Expertise in designing and implementing natural hand gestures for user interactions.
• Voice Control: Experience with Siri and voice commands for creating voice-enabled interactions in XR experiences.

Spatial Audio Design:

• Spatial Audio Techniques: Knowledge of implementing spatial audio using Apples audio APIs to create immersive soundscapes.
• Audio Integration: Skills in integrating and optimizing audio assets within VisionOS.

Performance Optimization:

• Optimization for Vision Pro: Understanding hardware constraints and capabilities to optimize applications for performance and battery life.
• Rendering Optimization: Techniques for optimizing rendering pipelines to maintain high frame rates and visual fidelity.
