Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead high-specification design projects across residential, corporate, and hospitality sectors. This role requires expertise in design coordination, project management, team leadership, and product sourcing to create high-quality, tailored interiors. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in handling high-value projects, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Drawing Creation & Review:

• Create and review initial and production drawings for various design projects.

Design Coordination:

• Work closely with architects and clients to coordinate design ideas and specifications.

Design Expertise:

• Ensure a deep understanding of design language and drawing details to ensure aesthetic and functional excellence.

Material Selection:

• Expertise in selecting tasteful materials, preparing mood boards, and presenting design concepts effectively.

Design Software Proficiency:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and other tools for presentations and communication.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and guide the design team to procure accurate drawings and project details.

Project Management:

• Manage high-value projects from initial concept to final delivery, overseeing design, budgeting, and production.

Sample Procurement & Organization:

• Obtain product samples, organize paint samples, and manage the samples library and product store.

Supplier & Contractor Management:

• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality execution of designs.

Client Interaction:

• Meet with clients, provide exceptional service, and exceed expectations in design quality and project delivery.

Product Research & Sourcing:

• Research and source high-quality interior products, bespoke items, fittings, soft furnishings, lighting, furniture, sanitary ware, artwork, and accessories per the design brief.

Leadership & Organizational Skills:

• Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively and ensure timely completion of all design-related tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 12-15 years in interior design with a strong portfolio of high-value residential, corporate, and hospitality projects.
• Design Expertise: Extensive knowledge of design principles, furniture, and interior industry standards.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, SketchUp, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Leadership: Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
