HGS Digital is seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join our team and contribute to critical cloud

migration projects. This role involves leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis

on Terraform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to ensure seamless and efficient migration processes.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cloud architecture, automation, and migration strategies.

Summary:

As a Cloud Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing cloud

migration strategies for enterprise applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design

secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions tailored to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud migration strategies to transition workloads and applications to GCP.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing

cloud resources.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to define migration roadmaps and

strategies.

• Ensure compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization in GCP

environments.

• Automate deployment pipelines and workflows using CI/CD tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues, including performance bottlenecks and configuration

errors.

• Perform cloud resource monitoring and optimization for performance and cost efficiency.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement robust disaster recovery solutions.

• Document cloud architectures, migration plans, and operational processes.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in GCP and cloud migration tools and practices.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on cloud migrations.

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.

• Strong understanding of networking principles, including VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers in

cloud environments.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Knowledge of database migrations and tools for cloud-based data solutions.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Network

Engineer.

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud strategies.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.s
