Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Technologist to support the configuration and implementation of digital learning initiatives with Learning Pool. In this role, will be responsible for supporting the Learning Management System and other components of the learning ecosystem, including application configuration, data analysis, and ongoing support of projects. The ideal candidate must have a technical background, display strong analytical and communication skills, and work well with diverse cross functional teams.


Responsibilities

  • Learning Pool Configuration & Support
    • Assist the LMS Administrator in setting up and configuring courses, user roles, and other Learning Pool features.
    • Advise on and implement eLearning best practices, leveraging SCORM/xAPI standards for course design and deployment.
    • Provide front-line support to instructors and learners, addressing technical inquiries and usage challenges in the LMS.
  • Course Development Support
    • Guide instructors on structuring eLearning content, incorporating multimedia elements, and leveraging Learning Pools built-in tools for maximum learner engagement.
  • Technical Implementation & Integration
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, et) to integrate Learning Pool with other enterprise systems, ensuring secure and seamless data flow.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to relevant stakeholders for prompt resolution.
    • Stay updated on new Learning Pool features, recommending and implementing enhancements that align with organizational goals.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing
    • Develop testing protocols for new Learning Pool configurations, course content, and feature rollouts.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with instructors and learners, ensuring consistent performance and a positive user experience.
    • Document and track identified issues, working with relevant teams to drive timely resolutions.
  • Training & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Provide personalized training sessions for staff and faculty on how to create, upload, and manage online courses in the Learning Pool.
    • Develop user-friendly guides, job aids, and video tutorials to support independent learning and troubleshooting.
    • Organize workshops and webinars to demonstrate eLearning best practices, course design, and learner engagement strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting
    • Analyze LMS data (e.g., completion rates, feedback scores, engagement metrics) to identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with instructional designers and management to enhance course structures, learner pathways, and overall platform usage.
    • Maintain awareness of emerging eLearning trends, recommending new approaches and technologies to keep pace with evolving educational standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BE-BTECH in Computer Science, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field with 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience with LMS administration, eLearning design, or instructional technology.
  • Practical experience with Learning Pool, including SCORM/xAPI course development.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of LMS functionalities: course authoring, user management, data analytics, and integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with HTML, multimedia editing tools, and content-authoring software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions within tight deadlines.

Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and guiding non-technical users on LMS features and online course creation.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Comfort with interpreting learning analytics and making data-driven recommendations for course improvements.
  • Proactive approach to identifying system enhancements, optimizing workflows, and improving user experiences.
