Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced MD or PhD in Biochemistry with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a diagnostic environment. The ideal candidate must possess expertise across all specialties in Biochemistry and have prior experience as a signing authority for diagnostic reports, including general and specialized biochemical tests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the signing authority for biochemical diagnostic reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Oversee and validate general and specialized biochemical tests, including endocrinology, metabolic disorders, enzymology, protein electrophoresis, and immunoassays.
• Provide expert interpretation of test results and consult with physicians and healthcare providers on diagnostic findings.
• Ensure laboratory operations comply with NABL, CAP, and other relevant accreditation standards.
• Supervise quality control procedures, calibration, and validation of laboratory instruments to maintain precision and reliability of results.
• Lead and mentor a team of laboratory professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Collaborate with clinical and research teams to support the development of advanced diagnostic methodologies.
• Ensure timely reporting and effective communication of critical values and abnormal findings to clinicians.
• Stay updated with advancements in Biochemistry and implement best practices in diagnostic testing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or PhD in Biochemistry from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting with proven expertise in biochemistry testing.
• Prior experience as a signing authority for biochemical reports is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory accreditation standards, quality control protocols, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in handling automated and semi-automated diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
