Gst Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform GST reconciliation between GSTR-2A/2B and the purchase register.
• Identify mismatches in input tax credit (ITC) and communicate with vendors for rectification.
• Ensure the accurate filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
• Handle compliance and provide timely updates on GST regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of GST-related documentation.
• Support GST audits and assessments.
• Manage accounting tasks and accounts finalization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address GST-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (CA/CMA Inter preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in GST compliance and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Desired Skills:

• Effective communication skills for vendor interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with GST audits is a plus.
