We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Expert to amplify our mission, create engaging digital content, and organically grow our social media presence. Join us in building a greener and more sustainable future!

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Develop engaging, high-quality digital content for the organizations social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Create and edit short and long-form videos tailored for various social media platforms.
• Design eye-catching graphics, infographics, and other visual content.

Social Media Strategy & Management:

• Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Maintain and update the organization’s social media handles with fresh and relevant content regularly.
• Monitor trends, news, and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

Audience Engagement:

• Increase engagement and followers through innovative, organic methods.
• Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and queries promptly.
• Build and nurture an online community that resonates with the organization’s vision and mission.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Track, measure, and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
• Generate detailed monthly reports on reach, engagement, and audience growth.
• Use insights from analytics to improve and optimize future content and strategies.

Brand Promotion:

• Ensure all social media content aligns with the organization’s brand guidelines and voice.
• Promote organizational initiatives, events, and campaigns to maximize visibility and reach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support promotional efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Social Media Expert, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of organic social media growth strategies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Google Analytics).
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate unique and engaging ideas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing social media for non-profits or sustainability-focused organizations.
• Knowledge of SEO and its application to social media.
• Certification in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management is a plus.
