Security Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise Security Personnel:
  
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of security officers.
• Develop and assign work schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
• Provide guidance and training on security protocols and emergency response.
• Conduct performance reviews, offer feedback, and handle disciplinary actions if needed.
• Monitor Security Systems:
  
• Oversee the operation and monitoring of security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Ensure all security equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions to management.
• Monitor daily security operations and maintain incident logs.
• Incident Response & Reporting:
  
• Respond to security breaches, incidents, or emergencies (theft, vandalism, fire, accidents, etc.).
• Lead the team in effectively handling situations, including evacuations, crowd control, or responding to medical emergencies.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and submit findings to management.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Enforce Security Policies & Procedures:
  
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and local regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of the premises to identify vulnerabilities.
• Provide security escorts when necessary and ensure safe access for employees and visitors.
• Implement access control measures, ensuring unauthorized individuals are not allowed entry.
• Training & Development:
  
• Conduct regular training sessions for security personnel on safety procedures, emergency protocols, and customer service.
• Keep the team updated on the latest security practices, technological advancements, and legal requirements.
• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the training programs.
• Risk Assessment & Preventive Measures:
  
• Regularly assess security risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Analyze security-related data, trends, and reports to identify potential areas of concern.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies to mitigate risks.
