XTEN-AV - Manager/Team Lead - PostgreSQL/RDBMS (3-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

Database & Data Management :

- Oversee product data within the PostgreSQL RDBMS, ensuring high standards of accuracy and data integrity.

- Utilize advanced SQL techniques to perform complex queries, automate data uploads, and maintain data consistency.

- Implement best practices for data management, including ETL processes, data validation, and error handling.

- Collaborate with the development team to integrate data processes with API-driven workflows and automation scripts.

Team Management & Support :

- Lead a team of data professionals, ensuring effective task management and technical support.

- Provide mentorship and training on data management tools and SQL query optimization.

- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies within the team, utilizing tools like JIRA for task tracking and project management.

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable data tasks.

- Develop data-driven dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

- 3+ years of experience in database management and SQL scripting, specifically with PostgreSQL.

- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel (advanced).

- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA and familiarity with agile methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with API integrations and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Integromat).

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process automation.

- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred :

- Experience in a SaaS environment or with product management.

- Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) tools.
