Experienced Full Stack Developer, with a strong backend focus, to lead platform development efforts within our Performance Engineering team.
This role is pivotal for a technical leader who thrives on building high-performance solutions integrated across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
You will contribute to both platform development and Performance Engineering, driving initiatives that support the Shift Left strategy and advance our platform s capabilities in delivering reliable, optimized performance solutions

You will architect and develop core backend services and APIs to enhance the Performance Engineering platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and integration with other SDLC tools (CI/CD pipelines, test environments)
You will embed performance considerations within platform features, developing tools and capabilities to support Performance Engineering requirements and improve performance feedback early in the SDLC
Your day-to-day :-
Lead initiatives that incorporate performance testing and monitoring into CI/CD pipelines, enabling proactive performance optimization throughout the SDLC.
Work closely with product management, DevOps, observability, and reliability engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy performance-oriented platform features that align with cross-functional goals
Ensure high standards of code quality, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability within the platform architecture
Mentor and guide the team on backend and full-stack development best practices, emphasizing performance optimization, code quality, and platform reliability.
Maintain detailed documentation for platform services, APIs, and Performance Engineering processes, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
What do you need to bring
Full-stack development experience with a strong emphasis on backend technologies; experience in platform development or performance engineering is highly desirable.
Familiarity with performance testing, monitoring tools, and best practices, particularly as they apply to optimizing services and platform solutions.
Proficiency in backend languages (Java, Python, Go, etc.), API design, microservices, and relational databases; knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is an asset.
Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harness, GitLab CI), test automation, and pipeline optimization within a performance-driven context.
Proven ability to design platform components with performance considerations, addressing issues like latency, load balancing, and system resilience.
Effective at cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to influence product and platform development decisions.
Experience mentoring development teams, with strong skills in technical guidance, project management, and communication.
