Job Description
As part of our next generation network transformation journey, we are seeking seasoned, passionate, and multi-faucet candidate to join the Infra Software services team at PayPal. The engineer will interact closely with different development and operational teams at PayPal to drive Infra Automation and Management.
Your day to day:
As a core participant of your team, you ll estimate engineering efforts, design your changes, implement and test your changes, push to live, and triage production issues.
- Implement Software Automation solution for PayPal datacenter Infra.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business unit leadership in developing project objectives and timelines.
- Drive detailed definition of feature requirements through discussions with product managers and customers.
- Define project and release scope.
- Work with the team on detailed technical design.

What do you need to bring:
- You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems powering the world s largest e-commerce and payments websites at a scale only a few companies can match
- Passion to build Infrastructure Automation systems for large scale.
- A Positive "can do" attitude with the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas and see them to fruition
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with GoLang, Python Linux or Java/C++ Python.
