Java Full Stack Developer

Job brief:

The full-stack developer will be part of our development team. According to roadmaps and priorities, he/she will work on several evolutions and bug corrections on the MCC and HPC applications.

Strong communication and collaboration with other development and functional team members are key for a smooth delivery. Other technical team members in Grenoble will be available to provide insights on the web configurator architecture and Schneider systems to help with a quick ramp-up.

Responsibilities and tasks:

The full-stack developer will be part of our development team and work on several evolutions and bug corrections on HPC according to roadmaps and priorities.

Strong communication and collaboration with other development and functional team members are key to a smooth delivery. Other technical team members in Grenoble will be available to provide insights on the web configurator architecture and Schneider systems to help with a quick ramp-up.

Role

Back-end & Front-end Developer

As back-end developer

Will process the input data from Select&Config Platform and provide FrontEnd structured data for computing optimization.

Will ensure response time optimization, not increase the current one.

As a front-end and back-end developer

will alert if functional analysis missed some use cases and provide related solution proposals.

Will ensure the delivery of the feature according to Jira requirements & mockup screens.

Will participate in Daily stand-up meetings and other release delivery follow-up meetings.

Will be autonomous with its local work environment (development software).

Will be responsible for unitary and integration testing before involving a tester.

Will follow Technical Leader recommendations for code quality & technical architecture.

Will be in relation with the Product Owner and data administrator and will support qualification in lower environments. Testing the side effects of the new implementation is key.

Will be related to external systems application managers if required (mySchneider, Project Builder, HelpMeChoose...).

- Proactive and independent who completes tasks down to a resolution

- Rigorous coding and testing

- English expected (understanding, speaking and writing)

Qualifications:

Bachelors or master’s Degree in (Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics /Electronics & Communications /Electronics & Instrumentation) engineering.

5-10 yrs. of relevant experience.

Nice to have:

Basic Knowledge of Industrial automation products, their functions, design, and applications.

Knowledge and understanding of Schneider products
